Our challenge was to craft an experiential campaign for the launch of HBO's Lovecraft Country during Comic Con, one that would intrigue audiences without revealing too much. As the project unfolded, Covid-19 necessitated a shift, transforming our initial plan into a finale celebration for the show.Our strategic approach tapped into our audience's passion for arts and entertainment, using the arts as a vessel to immerse them in the lore and mystery of Lovecraft Country.
We designed a 1950s drive-in themed activation that seamlessly blended elements of horror and sci-fi. Attendees were invited to engage their inner detective, uncovering clues scattered throughout the experience that hinted at the show's storyline. This immersive event not only generated awareness for the show but also provided fans with a unique and memorable way to interact with its compelling narrative.
